Katja Eichinger was a German film producer born on November 30, 1963, in Munich, Germany. She was the daughter of the renowned German film producer Bernd Eichinger and actress Maria-Antoinette Borgel. Katja Eichinger started her career as a producer in the early 1990s, working with her father's production company, Constantin Film. She produced several successful German films such as "The Baader Meinhof Complex" (2008), "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" (2006), and "Der Schuh des Manitu" (2001). She was also a member of the supervisory board of the Berlin International Film Festival. Katja Eichinger died on January 23, 2011, due to a heart attack at the age of 47.
